1 Mins read

BMW’s 2025 M2 is set to receive significant updates that will excite sports car enthusiasts. The latest iteration of the M2, known for its agility and driving pleasure, now boasts increased horsepower and a series of aesthetic and functional upgrades.

Power Increase

The 2025 M2’s turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine has been tuned to deliver an impressive 473 horsepower, up from 453 hp. This enhancement maintains the torque at 406 lb-ft with the standard six-speed manual gearbox, while the eight-speed Steptronic automatic transmission option boosts torque to 442 lb-ft. These modifications not only improve the car’s performance but also its acceleration, with the manual transmission model achieving 0-60 mph in about 4.1 seconds, and the automatic version in just 3.9 seconds.

Exterior Enhancements

The new M2 will be available in fourteen vibrant paint colors, including exclusive options like Sao Paulo Yellow and Vegas Red metallic. The introduction of four “BMW Individual” colors, such as Twilight Purple Pearl Effect, adds further customization options. The vehicle features new alloy wheels with multiple finish choices and an updated design for the exhaust pipes and exterior badges.

Interior and Technology Updates

Inside, the M2 maintains its familiar layout but introduces new materials and a redesigned flat-bottomed steering wheel available in leather or Alcantara, with an optional heating function. The sport seats now come with an option for black with red highlights, and carbon fiber bucket seats are available either as standalone or part of the Carbon Package. Technologically, the M2 is updated to BMW OS 8.5, enhancing the infotainment system and digitalizing the climate controls. Additionally, the innovative “Augmented View” provides navigation cues over a live video feed, aiding in complex driving scenarios.

Pricing and Availability

Starting at $66,075, the 2025 BMW M2 represents a modest price increase over its predecessor but remains an attractive value proposition given its performance enhancements and luxury features.

The 2025 BMW M2 promises to deliver a richer driving experience with its increased power and sophisticated technological advancements. It remains a standout choice for those seeking a high-performance sports car that offers excitement and exclusivity.
