At the July 2024 Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung introduced two new additions to its Watch lineup: the Galaxy Watch Ultra, aimed at competing with the Apple Watch Ultra, and the Galaxy Watch 7.
Galaxy Watch 7 Updates
The Galaxy Watch 7 isn’t a complete redesign but features some aesthetic changes to make it more appealing. Available in 40mm and 44mm sizes, it retains the same size as its predecessor and includes two buttons on the right side and 20mm connectors for watch bands. The watch looks refreshing and sports a new orange and blue color scheme.
Galaxy Watch Ultra Highlights
With its 47mm dial, the Galaxy Watch Ultra boasts a screen that peaks at 3,000 nits, making it much brighter than previous models. It features an added “Quick Button” for starting workouts or activating an Emergency Siren. The Ultra is durable yet comfortable, despite weighing 60.5 grams.
